Bebeto António Gomes
THE JOURNEY
Football is in the blood — but every step has been earned.
01
ROOTS, FAMILY, AMBITION
Born in Guinea-Bissau and raised in Portugal from the age of seven, Bebeto grew up in Cascais and developed within Estoril Praia’s youth structure. He moved to Manchester around 2019, choosing the city partly because of a lifelong connection with Manchester United.

A FOOTBALL FAMILY
Football runs through the family. His cousin Toti Gomes is a Portugal international and Premier League defender for Wolverhampton Wanderers, an example of the standards and ambition within the family.

FROM WINGER TO MODERN FULL-BACK
Originally an attacking winger, Bebeto evolved into a right-back and wing-back with the freedom to overlap, cross and create. His game is defined by repeated high-intensity runs, direct attacking intent and tactical versatility on either flank.
